What Is It?

The Hispanic Youth Institute inspires Hispanic high school students like you to achieve a college education, pursue a professional career, and invest in your community as volunteers and leaders.

The Hispanic Youth Institute is kicked off by the Hispanic Youth Symposium, a four-day, three-night summer program held on a college campus.

What Will You Get Out of It?

At the Hispanic Youth Symposium, you get the chance to:

• compete for thousands of dollars in scholarships,
• learn how to pay and apply for college,
• meet college admissions representatives,
• discover career opportunities, and much more!

Throughout the following school year, the Hispanic Youth Institute will send you information and provide you with opportunities to help you achieve your goals.

Whom Will You Meet?

• High school students with high aspirations.
• Hispanic college students, who will tell you what it’s like to go to college.
• Hispanic professionals and community leaders who will mentor you along your path to success.

How Do You Apply?

By participating in the Hispanic Youth Symposium, you will become part of the Hispanic College Fund familia and stay connected with us. Applications for the 2010 Hispanic Youth Symposia are now closed.

How Much Does It Cost?

The Hispanic Youth Symposium only costs $10.00 and membership to the Hispanic Youth Institute is free. Check out our list of sponsors, partners, and volunteers who all work hard to raise money and keep the cost of attending low.
